Everforth Apex in Seattle is seeking a Production Planner I to support daily and weekly production scheduling across CNC, 3D printing, welding, sheet metal, powder coating, and assembly. Production Planner I

Location:

Seattle, Washington (Onsite)

Role Overview

This role supports daily and weekly production scheduling across manufacturing operations. Working with Customer Success, Application Engineers, and operations teams, you will assist in building and maintaining production schedules, tracking job progress, and ensuring data accuracy in the manufacturing execution system. This position is suited for a candidate with a manufacturing background who is aiming to grow into a full planning ownership role. You will work within established processes and seek guidance as needed while developing skills to manage scheduling independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the creation of daily production plans and assign work based on training and machine availability.
• Allocate work against machine capacity based on job estimates across CNC machining, 3D printing, welding, sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, and assembly.
• Assist in projecting production for one to two weeks in advance.
• Plan for equipment outages and customer due dates.
• Communicate delivery timeline expectations to the Customer Success team.
• Identify and elevate scheduling conflicts and capacity issues to operations management.
• Monitor machine utilization and flag capacity constraints.
• Develop and maintain a master production schedule across all manufacturing modalities.
• Participate in planning process improvement projects.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 1–2 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination, operations support, or a related role.

Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP, or similar planning tools. Intermediate proficiency with Excel, Word, and other productivity software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical/vocational certification in Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, or a related subject.
• 2–3 years of production planning or manufacturing coordination experience.
• Familiarity with additive and/or subtractive manufacturing technologies and planning.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or startup environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
• Experience with data visualization or dashboard tools.
• Basic understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen).
• Exposure to AI-powered planning tools or scheduling software.
