Job description

Danone North America is seeking a Production Operator based in Portland, Oregon, where we manufacture frozen yogurt and ice cream. In this role, you will be trained in filling, sanitation, and flavoring, operating within various openings inside production.

Why work here?

• Sign-on bonus: $1000 paid in two installments ($500 at 90 days and $500 at 6 months)
• Starting wage of $25.14 per hour
• Swing Shift options: 3 pm - 1:30 am (4x10's) or 2 pm - 10:30 pm (5x8's)
• Monday through Thursday on 4x10's and Monday - Friday on 5x8's
• Pay for Performance: annual incentive bonus
• Excellent benefits package

In this role, you will support manufacturing by ensuring Safety, Quality, and Accuracy in product flavoring, filling, packaging, and sanitation.

Responsibilities include:

• Mixing ingredients per R&D formulas
• Maintaining flavor documentation on batch sheets provided by R&D
• Monitoring packaging supply levels for production
• Cleaning and sanitizing circuits, pipes, tanks, valves, and related equipment
• Coordinating with operators and pasteurizers to manage tank space
• Reviewing and troubleshooting CIP data and non-conformities
• Verifying bulk milk and sugar documentation, tank space, and raw ingredient receipt
• Operating powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts)

About you

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Food Manufacturing experience is a plus
