Danone North America is looking to hire a Production Operator based in Portland, Oregon, where we manufacture frozen yogurt and ice cream! In this role, you will be trained as a filler, sanitation, and flavoring specialist. You will operate within various openings inside production.

Sign on bonus: $1000 paid in 2 installments ($500 at 90 days and $500 at 6 months)

• Starting wage of $25.14 per hour
• Swing Shift: (3 pm - 1:30 am on 4x10's; or 2 pm - 10:30 pm on 5x8's)
• Monday through Thursday on 4x10's and Monday - Friday on 5x8's
• Pay for Performance: annual incentive bonus

In this role, you will support the manufacturing plant by primarily ensuring the Safety, Quality, and Accuracy of product flavoring, filling, packaging, and sanitation.

Responsibilities include:

• Mixing ingredients using formulas provided by R&D
• Maintaining flavor documentation on batch sheets provided by R&D
• Monitoring proper product into packages
• Monitoring supply of packaging materials to meet production orders
• Performing cleaning and sanitizing functions for all circuits, pipes, tanks, valves, and related equipment
• Coordinating with other operators and pasteurizers to maintain and monitor tank space
• Reviewing and interpreting CIP data; troubleshooting CIP non-conformities
• Verifying bulk milk and sugar documentation, tank space, and receiving raw ingredients (milk, cream, sugar) according to procedures
• Operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts)

About You

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus
