Production Operator - Portland

Danone North America is seeking to hire a Production Operator in Portland, Oregon, where we manufacture frozen yogurt and ice cream. This role involves training in filling, sanitation, and flavoring, operating within various production openings.

• Sign-on bonus: $1000 paid in two installments ($500 at 90 days and $500 at 6 months)
• Starting wage of $25.14 per hour
• Swing Shift options: 3 pm - 1:30 am on 4x10's or 2 pm - 10:30 pm on 5x8's
• Monday through Thursday on 4x10's and Monday - Friday on 5x8's
• Pay for Performance incentive bonus annually

Responsibilities

• Mix ingredients using formulas provided by R&D
• Maintain flavor documentation on batch sheets provided by R&D
• Monitor proper product into packaging
• Ensure supply of packaging materials for production
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and circuits
• Coordinate with team members to manage tank space
• Review and troubleshoot CIP data and non-conformities
• Verify raw ingredient documentation and manage tank space
• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus
