Urban Gypsum, located in Portland, OR, is now hiring for a Production Operator.

In addition to meeting departmental manufacturing goals, safety, accuracy, and efficiency are key elements of your performance.

Urban Gypsum is a closed-loop materials recovery facility in the Rivergate Industrial Sector of St. Johns, Oregon. We recycle drywall waste into a 99% pure powder for agricultural and industrial applications. We are growing and looking to hire motivated individuals who want to be part of a fast-paced, growing start-up!

Day & Night Shifts Available

Production Operator Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all aspects of receiving, shipping, and storing recycled and processed drywall
2. Ensure compliance with all Safety, Environmental, and Operating Standards
3. Operate all processing systems and equipment competently
4. Complete shipments by processing and loading orders
5. Participate in Preventative Maintenance on equipment
6. Provide quality service by following organizational standards
7. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
8. Perform other duties as assigned

Production Operator Qualifications / Skills:

• Experience operating forklifts and loaders
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a proven track record of delivering on commitments
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Good attendance required
