Job summary

CMC is seeking a versatile production associate to support loading, operating fabrication equipment, and maintaining a safe, efficient work area in outdoor conditions. You may work with cranes, shears, and forklifts, and will follow established procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliability; prior industrial experience is preferred. Training provided for equipment and safety programs. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments is a plus.
• Ability to read technical documents and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and upholds safety culture.
• Crosstrain on multiple machines.
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment, such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders, etc.
