Job summary

CMC, a Fortune 500® company, is seeking a hands-on team member to support our production of steel reinforcement products. You will operate fabrication equipment, load and unload materials, and keep work areas clean while following established safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to read technical documents and service manuals.
• Willingness to cross-train on multiple machines and shift overtime as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Operate production machines following procedures and guidelines.
• Load fabricated rebar on trailers and unload stock material from trailers.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and equipment.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold safety culture.
