CMC, a Fortune 500 company, seeks a production/fabrication worker in the New York area to support construction reinforcement products. You will receive training on equipment, assist with loading/unloading, and operate production machines to keep fabrication operations running smoothly.

You must be able to work outside in all weather, lift up to 50 lbs, cross-train, and follow OSHA/EPA rules while maintaining safety and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions (heat and cold).
• Able and willing to cross train as required.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and regulations.
• Strong work ethic and safe working habits.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Operate fabrication machines safely without supervision.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for long periods.
• Read technical documents and service manuals.
• Knowledge of industrial concepts and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Attend training on applicable equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Operate production machines per established procedures.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold safety culture.
• Cross-train on multiple machines.
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders, etc.).
