Qualifications

• To succeed, candidates must set up, operate and monitor shop equipment per schedules and instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Perform data entry at computer workstations.
• Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
• Unload/load trucks or railcars with overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders and work instructions to set-up and operate equipment.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
• Perform transactions and data entry at computer workstations
• Safely operate material handling equipment to transport and position material for processing
• Unloading and loading of trucks and/or railcars with overhead cranes
