Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is hiring for a production/lead role in a heavy industrial environment. The position involves operating fabrication machines, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining a safe, efficient work area. Training will cover applicable equipment and safety programs.

Applicants should have at least a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work overtime as needed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and rules.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Mentor and train team members on proper equipment use.
• Operate production machines according to established procedures.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold safety culture.
• Serve as leadman in absence, as necessary.
