Job summary

CS Power Systems in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Production Operator II to perform manual and automated assembly, test circuits, and inspect finished products. The role requires reading blueprints, following safety protocols, and maintaining quality standards in a 12-hour shift environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years manufacturing/production experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods
• Ability to work a continental shift (12 hours, 6pm–6am)

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Assemble circuits requiring fine hand assembly
• Check final assembly for finish, labeling and packaging methods
• Check mechanical dimensions and perform go-no-go electrical tests
• Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies
• Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of components, parts, and systems
• Record and summarize inspection results
• Complete manual assembly, cleaning, testing, and inspection per work instructions
• Load/unload material onto machine or manual workstations
• Connect cables, tubes and wires to complete assemblies and installations
• Operate and tend automated assembling equipment such as robotic or fixed automation equipment
• Conduct cosmetic and functional inspection and report defects
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and assist with setup of equipment
