Job summary

MPI Engineered Technologies in Knox, Indiana is seeking dependable Machine Operators to join our 2nd shift production team. You’ll operate production machinery, load materials, and perform setups while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass a basic math assessment with a score of 80% or higher.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment after training.
• Ability to work scheduled overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Load and unload materials and parts.
• Perform machine setups and equipment changeovers.
• Monitor machine performance throughout production runs.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain product specifications.
• Identify and reject defective parts.
• Perform routine equipment inspections.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Follow all SOPs and Quality/EMS requirements.
• Complete production reports and maintain documentation.
• Maintain production rates and housekeeping standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Support shift-change communication and safety policies.
• Wear PPE and report unsafe conditions.
