Job summary

Bestaff is seeking Machine Operators in Jeffersonville, IN for 1st and 2nd shifts. The roles involve inspecting products to ensure conformance, maintaining production levels, and keeping work areas clean and safe. Overtime may be offered as needed, with emphasis on safety and process discipline.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of factory experience, and basic math and measurement skills. Training on lockout-tagout and machine operation will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product for specification conformance.
• Meet and maintain acceptable production levels.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Notify your supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Follow lockout-tagout safety procedures.
• Keep the work area and equipment clean and orderly.
• Accept frequent supervision and assistance with machine set-up.
