Job summary

Tekni-Plex Consumer Products in the United States seeks a detail-oriented production operator to support daily manufacturing operations. You will follow safety procedures, set up machines, and ensure materials align with the production order while maintaining quality and on-time delivery.

This role requires adherence to GMPs, collaboration with the process lead, and proactive reporting of issues. You will contribute to safe, efficient production and support a range of employee benefits and

Responsibilities

• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and notify any unsafe conditions to Shift Supervisor, shift engineer, Manufacturing Manager and Safety
• Safety: Follow all company safety policies. Immediately report any unsafe conditions or acts to the shift supervisors or other leaders. Immediately report any property damage to shift supervisors or other leaders. Immediately report any injury, including paint or discomfort (even from home), to the shift supervisor at time of occurrence.
• Direct responsible for the production process in the machines assigned. Under the Technical expert or process lead
• Following guidance and procedures about production process, machine set up, materials change overs and support tools change overs to comply the production work order within the timeline, order, and quality required. Compliance the <b>PMP </b>= Production Master
• Request and assure the use of the correct materials in his/her machine assigned according with the bill of materials in the WO's
• Pack product and make boxes ensuring safe, legal and quality products through assessment, inspections and verifications of processes at all stages of manufacturing.
• Fulfill all the procedures generated by the company, including but not limited to: Set/Up, change overs, GMP's, safety, quality, packaging specs, etc.
• Analyze its productivity and proceed with the follow up
• Provide to the Expert Manufacturing Technician (EMT) and/or Process lead useful information to avoid problems, damages and faults in the machines. Perform in the machine these activities following the EMT instructions.
