TekniPlex is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Dublin, VA to inspect dosing systems daily, coordinate repairs with Maintenance, and ensure GMP and safety compliance to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include reporting downtime, using EAM/CMMS tools for parts tickets, and maintaining high quality service while adhering to safety standards.

Pay Range $19-$22

Responsibilities

• Perform a daily inspection of all material dosing systems to ensure proper operation and ensure that production will not be impacted by planned preventive maintenance or mechanical breakdowns.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance department for all repairs and/or upgrades to machinery and support systems to ensure availability and reliability.
• Review machinery performance and report machinery failures to Corrective Maintenance team if unable to make the repair on your own.
• To notify Facilities Manager or Maintenance Manager dosing system issues that are creating increased downtime.
• Coordinate with Production Supervision on downtime needs to make a repair.
• To ensure all work meets the correct specifications on needed repairs.
• Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with all Tekni-Plex safety and food safety standards meeting GMP guidelines.
• Work with all internal departments to ensure continuous production of the highest quality of service while still meeting all safety standards.
• Time management skills are a must to manage cleaning and repairs while adhering to daily schedules.
• Use EAM as needed to make pick tickets for parts needed on job repairs.
• Complete the Motan report as needed per shift.
• Complete requisitions for tools, equipment, services, and supplies required for daily operations.
