Position Overview

The main purpose of this role is to work as part of a team on the production line, reporting to the Team Leader. Flexibility is required, and you may need to work on related activities based on business needs.

• Hourly rate starting at $22/hr depending on experience

Main Responsibilities

1. Understand basic chemistry and monitor/troubleshoot processes; continually upgrade skills to understand the entire plant process flow.
2. Maintain a safe and tidy work area, adhering to Health & Safety policies.
3. Monitor processes, perform measurements and tests, and operate equipment to ensure quality products.
4. Follow SOPs, solve process problems, and report issues to meet manufacturing plans.
5. Understand mechanical operations for effective monitoring and troubleshooting; upgrade skills as needed.
6. Monitor equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, assist in repairs, and participate in maintenance and installation projects.
7. Document production activities accurately, including raw material usage and process data.
8. Ensure products meet customer and environmental requirements and regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-5 years manufacturing experience
• Availability for 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend
• Teamwork skills
• Ability to work safely with tools and equipment
• Experience in chemical manufacturing and lean manufacturing (preferred)
• Familiarity with SAP S4 Hana or similar ERP systems (beneficial)

Skills & Knowledge

• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Basic math and accurate data entry skills
• Forklift and boiler licenses (desired)
