We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Production Technician for the Manufacturing Team, you will support engineers in the design, modification, and improvement of products and processes at John's Creek, Georgia, US.

In this role, a typical day will include:
  • Performing duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
  • Constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, diagnosing, and maintaining equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Working from schematics, engineering drawings, and instructions.
  • Operating related equipment; conducting tests and reporting data.
  • Performing calibration and alignment checks; making adjustments, modifications, and replacements as advised.
  • Preparing prescribed compounds and solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to read, write, understand, and communicate fluently in English.
  • Work hours: J shift/day shift (11.5 hours, starting at 6am to 6:30pm)
  • Travel Requirements: none
Preferred Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
