Production Worker (Rough Clean Utility Worker - 3rd Shift)

Howmet Engines is a world-class producer of aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, including airfoils, rings, disks, and forgings. We excel in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing for high-performance parts that enable the next generation of quieter, more fuel-efficient aero engines and cleaner power generation.

We are currently looking for a Rough Utility Worker to join our Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The working hours for this Midnight Shift are Sunday Night - Thursday Night, 10 pm - 6 am. Training will occur on Day Shift (Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2 pm) and may last several months.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting hourly rate: $24.79. After 12 months: $27.35. This position includes an hourly shift premium while assigned to an off-shift.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform hourly jobs supporting the department, excluding non-fixtured cutting.
• Utilize equipment such as Kalamazoo saw, wet saw, AW Bell, pull-down saw, and water jet machines.
• Perform alloy verification and MP identity marking on castings.
• Maintain proper traceability and record keeping for castings.
• Perform cleaning and finishing operations including K/O procedures, water honing, and sandblasting.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
• Report safety concerns and participate in EHS training.

Environmental, Health & Safety Responsibilities

• Implement EHS policies and procedures.
• Wear all required PPE and report injuries or safety concerns promptly.
