Production Worker (Casting Technician - Weekend Night Shift)

Join our team as a Casting Technician at Howmet Engines, a leader in aero engine and industrial gas turbine component manufacturing. This role is based in Dover, New Jersey, with work hours on the Weekend Night shift (Friday night to Sunday night, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM). Training will be provided on the Day shift (Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) for several months.

Pay Range: $24 - $25.50 per hour, with additional shift premiums for off-shift work. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, 401(k), health benefits, life insurance, tuition assistance, and more.

Position Overview

This position involves pouring molten metal into casting molds, operating vacuum and air melt equipment, inspecting molds, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires the ability to read, write, and communicate in English, and to work with computers.

Responsibilities

• Pour alloy into refractory molds following SOPs.
• Operate complex melting equipment.
• Generate reports and maintain records.
• Inspect molds prior to casting.
• Train colleagues and assist in troubleshooting.
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations, wear PPE, and report incidents.
