Shank’s Extracts, LLC d/b/a Universal Ingredients – Shank’s is hiring a Production Associate for 1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts in Lancaster, PA. The role involves supporting GMP, sanitation, equipment verification, and line operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, food safety training, and manufacturing experience; benefits include medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, EAP, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Food Safety training completed.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uphold GMP, production lines, sanitation, cleanliness, equipment verification, and process validation.
• Promotes healthy communication between workers and management.
• Maintains workflow by following the process steps and communicating corrections to malfunctions.
• Maintains quality and safety by adhering to company standards.
• Ensures operation of equipment including filling lines, filters, and reporting issues.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Perform LOTO of equipment to clean, clear jams, and perform change-overs.
