Kelly Services in Marion, NC is seeking a Fill Operator (2nd Shift) to support production in a clean, regulated environment.

You will fill, label, and inspect containers, print barcodes, and maintain quality standards while following cGMP and 6S practices. Overtime opportunities and career growth are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to understand and follow safety and quality instructions, including diagrams.
• Able to obtain Inspector Certification.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Physically able to lift up to 15 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Fill, assemble, and plug containers at a consistent production rate.
• Print labeling and bar codes on containers.
• Supply filling stations with materials.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards.
• Document cleaning activities and perform quality checks.
• Follow cGMP and SOPs; maintain clean 6S area.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $17.50-$19.00

Shift

1st: 6:30am-7:00am start time (8 hour shift)

3rd: 6:30pm – 6:30am or 7pm – 7am, 2-week rotation pattern

What’s a typical day as Fill Operator? You’ll be

• Filling, assembling, and plugging flexible containers with solutions or premixed drugs at a consistent production rate.
• Printing labeling and bar code information on containers using computerized printers and maintaining printer supplies.
• Supplying filling stations with printed bags and necessary assembly materials.
• Inspecting products and components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Documenting and performing scheduled cleaning activities.
• Conducting quality checks using gauges and scales.
• Following rigorous quality standards, SOPs, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Sustaining a clean and safe work area using 6S principles and notifying supervisors of any issues.
• Working in a controlled environment, wearing required PPE, and occasionally using chemical cleaners and disinfectants.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you

• Have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required).
• Are at least 18 years of age.
• Possess basic English communication and math skills.
• Can understand and follow verbal and written safety and quality instructions, including diagrams.
• Are able to obtain Inspector Certification.
• Have manufacturing experience (preferred but not required).
• Are physically able to repeatedly lift, carry, push/pull up to 15 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks (bending, squatting, reaching, etc.).
• Can work in environments with required PPE and exposure to noise.
