Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an Assistant Line Operator in Sanford, NC for a Sunday-Thursday schedule on the 3rd shift (11pm-7am) at $17.00/hr. The role involves starting and operating equipment safely, training new team members on safety, and performing in-process quality checks.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and related manufacturing experience, basic math skills, and the ability to read technical documents; Spanish bilingualism is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years related experience or training in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills (multiplication, division, subtraction, addition).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as formulas, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Start and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Train new team members on safety rules
• Conduct in-process quality checks
• Perform basic operations with equipment and manual processes to keep the line running according to standards
• Perform regular data reporting
• Participate in line changeovers
• Troubleshoot basic issues during production

Current Opportunity Details:

Sunday- Thursday

• Mandatory overtime when needed
