Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Production Manager in Memphis, TN to organize and supervise the Production Department. You will report to the General Manager or Operations Manager and drive efficiency, safety, and quality across all shifts.

The role requires coordinating with engineering, sales, and service management, implementing changes to improve labor utilization, and leading training initiatives to develop the production staff. Strong supervisory skills and adherence to policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of business management experience in a production environment.
• Strong supervisory and management skills are required.
• Good organizational skills and ability to lead, motivate and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise work in the Production Department.
• Oversee hiring, training, and staff development.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales and service management to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Ensure production policies, procedures and safety standards are followed.
• Set and monitor production, quality, housekeeping and safety standards.
• Create and manage department budgets; handle hiring, discipline and employee relations.
