Alsco Uniforms in St. Louis, MO, is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to support the Production Manager in organizing and supervising the Production Department.

Primary duties include assisting with staff hiring/training, overseeing performance evaluations, and ensuring adherence to production policies and safety standards. You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and service management to optimize labor utilization, contain costs, and improve efficiency, while maintaining quality and

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Experience supervising production staff is preferred.
• Good time management and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• May hire and train new staff or assist management.
• Conduct performance evaluations as requested by the Manager.
• Assist with employment actions, including discipline and termination.
• Monitor and improve labor utilization, production efficiency, and department expenses.
• Conduct new hire and ongoing training in all production departments.
• Consult with engineering, sales, and service management to ensure smooth operation.
• Execute company production policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure standards for production, quality, housekeeping, and safety are met.
• Adhere to department budgets, and manage hiring and employee relations.
• Attend meetings and perform tasks as directed by supervision.
• May work with other branch personnel as required.
