Sharp is seeking an Operations Manager to direct production department activities, establish schedules, and ensure quality, on-time delivery, and production cost control. The role requires coordinating 5–15 supervisors and 10–100 operators to meet customer requirements and company standards.

You will review production data, lead cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in a technical discipline.
• Five years related experience in an FDA Medical/Pharmaceutical regulated industry and/or training.

Responsabilités

• Direct and coordinate activities of production department(s) to meet customer requirements for quality, quantity, and ship date.
• Establish production schedules and ensure documentation is approved and available to production and QA.
• Ensure adequate staffing; manage inventories, resources and supplies to control productivity, quality, timely delivery and costs.
• Ensure products packaged conform to customer and company specifications.
• Plan department operations by reviewing production orders and schedules to meet delivery dates and weekly production schedules.
• Review production and quality data with supervisors; reinforce behavior to improve productivity, quality, on-time delivery, safety and costs.
• Investigate operational, manufacturing, maintenance and quality discrepancies; prepare reports to prevent recurrence with minimum costs and delays.
• Lead production supervisors, operators, mechanics, and QA personnel to resolve problems and improve methods and equipment.
• Provide clearly defined objectives and apply performance metrics; deliver positive reinforcement and appropriate corrective actions.
• Inspect and evaluate production equipment for readiness and utilization.
• Retrieve and analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement and evaluate efficiency.
