Job summary

Sharp Packaging Services is seeking a Production Manager to lead production departments in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated pharmaceutical packaging environment. You will coordinate supervisors, plan production schedules, and ensure compliant documentation to meet quality, quantity, and ship-date targets.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and GMP

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production staff and coordinating multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage supervisors to control production personnel, machines, and material handlers to meet quality, quantity, and ship dates.
• Establish production schedules and ensure documentation is approved and available to production and QA personnel.
• Staff area appropriately; manage inventories, resources, and supplies to control productivity, quality, timely delivery, and production costs.
• Ensure all products packaged conform to customer and company specifications and standards.
• Plan department operations by reviewing orders and schedules to determine product types, quantities and specs.
• Lead production supervisors and operators to resolve production problems.
• Work with other departments to improve methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
