Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Production Manager to lead overall production and maintenance operations at the Stone Mountain, GA facility. The role emphasizes a culture of safety and driving long-term strategic direction for the local business.

You will direct daily manufacturing, champion process improvements, and collaborate across departments to ensure safe, efficient operations and timely production schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with 3+ years leadership experience in an industrial environment.
• Associates' degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Production or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• On-site at Stone Mountain, GA with manufacturing leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain safety and continuous flow production methods with plant manager.
• Seek out and implement process improvements to reduce RM cost, improve asset utilization, and balance teams.
• Lead leadership development, adapt to change, and build a strong team pipeline with the plant manager.
• Sign off with scheduler on daily/weekly production schedules.
• Establish formal and informal communications for staff and employees (safety huddles, meetings, planning).
• Ensure training for employees with leads and trainers to advance the business.
• Oversee plant layout for optimal safety and efficiency.
• Utilize Inventory Management Process to meet finished goods targets.
• Ensure OSHA training compliance monthly with EH&S team and area manager.
• Drive safety program initiatives with active safety committee participation.
• Oversee preventative/predictive maintenance program for the facility.
• Maintain knowledge of precast processes and industry developments.
