Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead on-site production, safety, and continuous improvement at the Newnan, GA facility. The role drives collaboration across operations, sales, engineering, accounting, and transportation to optimize safety, efficiency, and customer service.

The Plant Manager will oversee scheduling, equipment use, and staff development, ensuring drawings and designs are correctly applied and that material procurement supports smooth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required or preferred.
• 6+ years in a leadership role in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with precast/concrete or building materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and environmental practices on site and lead by example.
• Lead production scheduling to meet customer needs and on-time delivery.
• Develop a focus on customer service and proactive communication across the team.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure proper drawings are used during the manufacturing process.
• Hire, supervise, orient, train and retain operations staff.
• Promote a clean workplace that is tour-ready at all times.
• Read drawings, plan production tasks from those drawings, and coach employees to produce correctly.
• Operate or coach use of plant floor tools as needed to be a better coach and troubleshooter.
• Lead meetings and inventory counts; drive safety best practices in leadership meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
