Job summary

Corning Incorporated seeks an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage production operations at the Winston-Salem cable facility. The role requires a strong people leader who can drive results, manage change, and align cross-functional teams across operations, planning, engineering, and product teams.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in manufacturing leadership, DSIG Green Belt/Lean experience, and a BS in a technical or business field. MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Demonstrated people leadership skills including coaching and conflict resolution.
• Certified Six Sigma DMAIC Green Belt and/or Lean capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations with accountability for safety, quality, cost, delivery, and team performance.
• Drive manufacturing performance and achieve production targets.
• Manage staffing, labor productivity, and departmental budget.
• Align plant capacity with customer demand and support SIOP.
• Partner with planning to meet on-time manufacturing and delivery goals.
• Lead changeovers, equipment upgrades, maintenance, and new product introductions.
• Drive continuous improvement and OEE gains through lean initiatives.
• Communicate priorities and long-term goals across the organization.
