Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a Production Manager to lead assembly operations in a high-pace plant. You will oversee processes, maintenance, staffing, and scheduling to meet production goals while driving quality and cost controls.

You will work with cross-functional teams on new products, track KPIs and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a warehouse/production environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in manufacturing leadership.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of production planning, scheduling and shipping.
• Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO14000 and OSHA.
• Experience in hiring, performance reviews and corrective actions.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage assembly operations, processes, procedures, work instructions and schedules.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and downtime planning for equipment.
• Allocate tools, equipment and staffing to meet targets.
• Plan and coordinate activities to fulfill orders and inventories.
• Participate on new product teams for smooth production start.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale.
• Develop and maintain reporting on productivity and quality.
• Perform capacity analysis of resources including equipment and staff.
• Drive OEE improvements and related initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to improve processes.
• Maintain relationships with other departments for input on product needs.
• Ensure Environment, Health, and Safety compliance.
• Provide leadership through mentoring, training, and coaching.
