Job summary

Qualifications

• Four year degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of production, scheduling and shipping operations.
• Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO14000 and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all assembly operations, processes, procedures, work instructions and schedules.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and downtime planning to keep equipment running.
• Allocate tools, equipment and staffing to meet production goals.
• Plan and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill sales orders and inventory needs.
• Lead new product teams to ensure smooth concept-to-production transitions.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale; drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain reporting on productivity and quality KPIs.
• Perform capacity analyses for resources, equipment and labor; level-load production.
• Drive actions to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Maintain schedules and communicate capacity constraints across teams.
• Implement corrective actions to improve major KPIs; collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance.
