Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a hands-on leader to oversee the machining department, ensuring daily operations, quality, safety and production targets are met while coaching team members.

You will drive changeovers with Line Operators, train associates on procedures, ensure accurate end-of-shift records, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or machining experience.
• Prior leadership or training experience.
• Knowledge of quality systems and process controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily machining department operations.
• Manage all aspects of quality, safety, production and coaching opportunities.
• Communicate and execute all change overs with Line Operators (General Associates).
• Train and assist associates on departmental procedures and work instructions.
• Complete required production quality and assist in troubleshooting process issues.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental goals.
