Job summary

APX is a leading metal manufacturer in the United States seeking an experienced Production Manager to shape operations, uphold quality and safety, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

You will lead supervisors, operators, and technicians, collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain, and deliver measurable gains in efficiency and cost control. This role emphasizes safety, training, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience of at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and inspire a team of supervisors, operators and technicians to foster accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
• Oversee and enhance production workflows, ensuring timely execution while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with upper management to develop production strategies that drive efficiency and reduce costs.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead comprehensive training programs to elevate team skills and competencies.
• Engage with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to streamline processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company safety policies.
