Job summary

APX is a leading metal manufacturer in the United States seeking an experienced Production Manager to shape operations, uphold quality and safety, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

You will lead supervisors, operators, and technicians, collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain, and deliver measurable gains in efficiency and cost control. This role emphasizes safety, training, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience of at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Job Description:

As the Production Manager, you will hold a pivotal role in shaping production operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. You will leverage your extensive experience to lead a diverse team, implement strategic initiatives, and optimize processes that align with our organizational goals. Responsibilities:

• Performance Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
• Training & Development: Lead comprehensive training programs to elevate team skills and competencies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and technological advancements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to streamline processes and resolve production challenges effectively.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, promoting a proactive approach to workplace safety and risk management.
