Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a production supervisor to lead the Jemison Production Team on the C shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) in Huntsville. You will oversee manufacturing and assembly of a new satellite, develop resource plans, hire and train staff, and drive safety and quality across the production line.

You will work with engineering to standardize processes, implement cost reductions, and manage transitions from development to production.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a supervision/leadership position in aerospace development programs or complex manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
• Strong work ethic with high attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic team.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office; ability to hire top talent.

Responsibilities

• Provide dotted line leadership to the C shift Jemison Production Team (Fri–Sun, 5am–5:30pm).
• Develop resource plans, write job descriptions, conduct interviews, and participate in hiring decisions.
• Ensure product quality and conformance to engineering specifications.
• Develop and implement cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
• Document and标准ize production processes with engineering.
