What You Will Do

The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring that the assigned production area is operated profitably and efficiently, maintaining quality. Responsibilities include safety, scheduling, line balancing, build evaluation, monitoring customer requirements, controlling scrap and rework, efficiency, overtime application, and documentation. Acts as primary contact for production issues and supervises production supervisors.

This position is eligible for a 5% shift differential and a targeted 10% annual incentive bonus.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

How You Will Do It

• Direct and coordinate production supervisors, maintain safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Train and develop supervisors and staff, analyze staffing needs, and ensure safety compliance.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives, lead 5S and Kaizen activities, and drive a culture of quality and efficiency.
• Monitor financial KPIs, manage overtime, mediate personnel issues, and coordinate production schedules.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or Associate degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work 2nd shift (2:00PM-10:00PM) and overtime as needed.

Preferred

• Experience with Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
