Role Overview

Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented Manufacturing Manager to lead our 2nd shift operations in North Reading, MA. You will oversee a team engaged in material handling, electro-mechanical assembly, testing, packing, and shipping, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate manufacturing teams.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery expectations.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, focusing on safety and quality.
• Manage staffing, training, and development of high-performing teams.
• Track and report process metrics/KPIs, driving continuous improvement.
• Implement process improvements and root cause analysis.
• Set team goals, drive accountability, and lead business initiatives.
• Collaborate across departments including Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Conduct employee reviews, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

Basic

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
• 1+ years manufacturing experience.
• Leadership and team-building skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred

• Experience in high-volume manufacturing and new product support.
• Knowledge of Materials Management, Oracle ERP, Agile PLM.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools.
