The Production Manager will manage the daily operations of their assigned facility; ensuring the operations are run in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner. Helps facilitate inter-shift communications and process consistency. Additionally, this position will work with support departments to proactively plan and/or address concerns/issues that may prevent optimal production safety, quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibility:

• Leverage Daily Management and Daily Direction Setting to ensure that production targets are established for all areas, and actionable countermeasures are developed for gap drivers
• Make or assist others in making decisions regarding production to help meet safety, quality and volume and productivity goals
• Hire, coach and develop Production Supervisors across multiple shifts and work locations
• Ensure production associates are properly trained for their roles, and sufficient cross-training is in place for business continuity
• Collaborate with appropriate departments and support teams to solve problems and respond to concerns/issues
• Help resolve customer complaints, production difficulties and planning issues, using structured root cause analysis tools
• Lead or assist in strategic projects, production expansions and/or process/procedure modifications
• Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Processes, Operational Management or a similar field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years related experience leading others
• Experience using SAP, SPC and WMS
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
