A leading agricultural biotechnology company is seeking a Technical Production Manager to oversee supply chain activities and ensure FDA compliance for their PRRS Resistant Pig program. This remote role requires strong communication and organizational skills, along with a relevant degree and experience in swine production systems. PIC, a Genus PLC company, has an exciting opportunity to deliver successful commercialization of our PRRS Resistant Pig. We are looking for a Technical Production Manager. This position will be responsible for leading supply chain activities supporting production planning, inventory tracking, product dissemination and on-farm development and implementation of our QMS program (PIC Quest) by working cooperatively across a multi-functional team. This role will coordinate the initial supply and dissemination of PRP breeding stock and semen to ensure the highest quality and optimization of availability.
The successful candidate will be able to grow and maintain relationships with key partners across our business and use their skills to aid in the development, communication, implementation and monitoring of key processes across multiple sites. Success will be aided by the ability to work in a culturally diverse, fast-paced environment while establishing priorities, meeting deadlines & maintaining accuracy. The candidate must work autonomously as well as collaboratively across functional teams while analyzing and problem solving and possess strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
The position is remotely based in the Midwest region of the United States.
