Job summary

MINEBEA-ACCESSSOLUTIONS USA INC in Bremen, GA is seeking a Production Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations at our automotive parts facility. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. (or equivalent education + experience) Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, process engineering, and quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations to meet output, quality, and safety targets.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow as necessary to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
  • Lead, manage, and develop production teams to ensure optimal performance, employee engagement, and compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure that production processes operate in compliance with ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, or other relevant automotive industry standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies to reduce waste, downtime, and inefficiencies.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments to maintain seamless production flow.
  • Monitor and report key production metrics including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), yield, scrap rate, and cycle times.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the plant.
  • Manage production budgets, labor costs, and equipment utilization to achieve cost-effectiveness.
  • Participate in new product launches, tooling changes, and process validation activities.
  • Provide regular performance reports and updates to senior management.

Job Summary:

Production Manager leads and optimizes manufacturing operations at our automotive parts production facility.   • Primarily based in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • May be required to work extended hours or weekends to meet production demands.

Physical Requirements:

  • To work at a computer desk for 8 to 10 hours per day. Requiring the ability to concentrate on work to perform the appropriate analysis.
  • Requiring the ability to navigate through the plant to different production locations to collect data.

Sensory/Physical/Mental Requirements:

  • The ability to concentrate on a project and complete it on their own and to be a team player within the organization.
