Job Description

A growing food manufacturer with two production facilities in Southern California is seeking a Production Manager that is dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety and quality. As the 2nd Shift Production Manager, you will oversee daily production operations and personnel, ensuring adherence to established production and quality control standards. Your role involves scheduling, training, and motivating the production team to achieve optimal productivity while minimizing costs. A great opportunity to collaborate with various departments, including maintenance, quality assurance, and sales, to streamline operations, implement continuous improvement practices, and analyze performance data to foster a lean manufacturing culture.

In addition to supervising production employees and maintaining safety protocols, you will actively monitor quality to prevent out-of-spec products and identify causes of any discrepancies. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring effective communication between management and staff, resolving employee conflicts, and conducting performance evaluations.
