Job summary

IPG is seeking a Production Maintenance Tech in Atlanta, GA to provide hands-on maintenance support for the plant. The role requires diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong PLC and welding experience, and good English communication.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years in industrial maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, PLC, AC/DC drives, and welding.
Basic math, computer literacy, and proficient English communication.
Proper use of PPE and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including motors, relays, and switches up to 480V.
Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
Serve as primary contact for maintenance with production personnel.
Diagnose and repair forklifts, pumps, hydraulics, and related equipment.
Maintain and replenish parts inventory; respond to unplanned downtime.
Communicate equipment issues and safety concerns clearly to operators and supervisors.
