Job summary

IPL Schoeller in Georgia seeks a Maintenance Technician responsible for troubleshooting machines, performing routine and preventive maintenance, oiling and greasing, and assisting in shop organization. The role requires adherence to FDA guidelines and SQF standards while supporting production areas.

You will work under the Technical Manager, coordinate with shift teams, and ensure timely availability of maintenance supplies, with flexibility for shifts and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machines and auxiliary equipment with focus on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems
• Oil and grease all machines
• Maintain and organize maintenance shop and tools
• Fabricate parts containment for production areas
• Maintain tops on machines and tables per FDA guidelines
• Assist with safety issues and corrective actions
• Perform monthly Preventive Maintenance tasks
• Inform Technical Manager of supplies needed
• Maintain facility - plumbing, basic electrical, mechanical
• Comply with SQF standards and promote a food safety culture
• Perform other related duties as assigned
