Job summary

PGI is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain manufacturing and facility equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently. You will interpret diagrams and manuals, perform preventive maintenance, operate forklifts and welding tools, and train teammates as needed.

This is a full-time, on-site position on 1st or 2nd shift. Candidates should have 3-5 years in mechanical or electrical troubleshooting, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs in an industrial

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts and welding tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems with production machinery and equipment and determine how to correct them.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all types of machines and equipment (conveyors, presses, PLCs, electrical circuitry).
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance to keep systems running smoothly.
• Schedule and perform machine teardown and minor modifications as needed.
• Assist in training maintenance personnel and maintain a clean, organized work area.
