Job summary

IPG is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain advanced production and facility equipment. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and proactive maintenance within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, work-order management in AMMS, and collaboration with engineers and operators to prevent recurrence. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, CMMS experience, and flexibility to work

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED with 5 years of multi-craft maintenance experience; OR 5 years military technical experience; OR Associate’s Degree with 2 years manufacturing experience.
• CMRT certification is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management program (CMMS) required.
• Ability to work any shift (weekends, holidays, overtime).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods; dexterity for climbing stairs/ladders.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Machinist skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a zero-incident safety culture by following all safety rules and participating in investigations.
• Execute preventative and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve machine reliability.
• Enter, manage, and complete work orders in AMMS; manage spare parts and stockroom inventory.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers, Maintenance Team, and Operators to root-cause problems and implement prevention.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair using PLCs; calibrate instrumentation; perform welding, fabrication, and electrical tasks.
• Perform related maintenance tasks as requested by supervisor.
