Job summary
IPG is a global leader in packaging and protective solutions seeking a Production Maintenance Tech to support plant reliability and safety. You will join a team focused on maintaining equipment, meeting maintenance objectives, and ensuring a safe working environment.
In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in industrial maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, PLC, AC/DC drives, and welding.
- Intermediate math/computer skills and English writing.
Responsibilities
- Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment up to 480-volt energy.
- Performs preventive maintenance and keeps records.
- Serves as point person for maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Diagnoses and repairs forklifts, pumps, hydraulics, and related equipment.
- Maintains and refills parts inventory.
- Responds promptly to unplanned failures to minimize downtime.
- Communicates issues and safety concerns with operators and supervisors.
- Utilizes PPE properly.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues as needed.
- Performs related tasks as requested by supervisor.
