Job summary

IPG Midland, NC is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee mechanical/electrical maintenance across manufacturing and support areas. You will lead a team, focus on safety, quality, and reliability, and ensure maintenance tasks align with production needs.

The role requires a technical degree or substantial industrial experience, knowledge of PLCs and drive systems, and strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities. Expect hands-on supervision and collaboration with Engineering.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent industrial experience.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and drive systems.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians to ensure safety, quality, and on-time performance.
• Schedule and assign work, enter work orders in CMMS.
• Support safety audits and training programs for the maintenance team.
• Assist Engineering with equipment modifications and new installations.
• Identify parts and requisition through Purchasing.

Education

Two-year technical degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical sciences

High school diploma with 5-10 years industrial experience
