Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will support safety, predictive and preventive maintenance programs to help achieve site goals. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, vocational training in pneumatics/hydraulics or electrical/mechanical studies, and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Vocational training in pneumatics/hydraulics, electrical, mechanical studies or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in related maintenance roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and equipment breakdowns during production and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read OEM manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, hydraulic drawings, and mechanical drawings.
• Fabricate shields/guards; bend, cut, shape, and weld as needed.
• Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test and adjust equipment.
• Interface with manufacturing engineering to implement process improvements.
• Operate hand/power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
• Work various shifts, including overtime and weekends; share call duties.
