Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician with automation experience to service and maintain manufacturing equipment, read schematics, and lead shift activities to meet production goals.

You will collaborate with QA, Process, Facilities, and Manufacturing Engineering, manage preventive maintenance programs, and mentor team members while ensuring GMP and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Discipline is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation.
• 2-3 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify problems from schematics/prints and repair to ensure safe operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair ancillary equipment (e.g., Blow overs, Heater).
• Direct maintenance across electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Manage PM program and spare parts to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Oversee outside contractors; scheduling, training, contracts, insurance certificates and follow-up.
• Ensure GMP, QSR/ISO, FDA, OSHA compliance and write procedures for employees.
