Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure the efficiency of automated assembly lines. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair automation equipment.

You will also assist with installation, validation, and process improvements in collaboration with the shift leader and production management. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related automation experience or trade school training.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year experience related to plant automation or 1 year of trade school with an automation focus.
Ability to operate a Powered Industrial Truck.
Knowledge of Lean Sigma programs encouraged.
Able to comply with safety and quality policies.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of all automation equipment during production as well as performing scheduled preventative maintenance of the same.
Assist with installation, setup and validation of incoming automation equipment.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust.
Maintain equipment logbooks and spare parts inventory.
Support shift operations to maintain uptime and line efficiency.
